Lanesurf connects with all major tools you already use: go live in 48 hours, with full TMS integration in under 10 days. ## Frequently asked questions ### Does Lanesurf integrate with my TMS and internal systems? Absolutely. Lanesurf connects with most modern TMS platforms, load boards, compliance portals, and CRMs. But you don't need to wait on IT — just send over an Excel with your current loads, and the agent can start working immediately. Full integration takes less than 10 days and runs in parallel while results start flowing. ### Can Lanesurf recall prior conversations during the same day or load cycle? Yes. Whether a carrier calls back or your team follows up, Lanesurf remembers the full context — the lane, the quoted rate, if it was on hold, or flagged for compliance. No repeating yourself. It picks up right where it left off and acts naturally like a human. ### What happens if the agent is unsure how to proceed during a call? If the agent detects something wrong or unclear — like a team-driver requirement, an edge-case rate, or missing COI — it doesn't guess. It flags the issue, pauses the conversation, and either alerts your team or hands off the call. No assumptions, no risks. ### How can I customize Lanesurf's behavior? Lanesurf adapts to how your team runs. You can tune MC vetting and compliance checks, escalation logic, tone and firmness during negotiations, and lane-specific pricing thresholds. We use your SOPs or rep call recordings to configure the agent to match your best people — consistently. ### How do you manage data security? Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 and TLS 1.2+. We enforce strict access controls, role-based permissions, MFA, and detailed audit logs. We treat your load data like it's our own — locked down and protected. ### How does Lanesurf comply with privacy laws? Lanesurf is SOC 2 Type II certified and follows industry-standard data security practices. All calls, quotes, and carrier documents are logged, encrypted, and stored securely with full audit trails. Our AI works under your rules — you stay in control of pricing, booking, and carrier selection at all times. ## For carriers: Lanesurf Load Alerts Source: https://www.lanesurf.com/sms-terms Lanesurf Load Alerts is a recurring text alert program that tells US motor carriers about available truckload freight. - What it sends: text messages to dispatchers and owner-operators of US motor carriers who have opted in. Each alert describes one available load from one of Lanesurf's freight brokerage customers (lane, equipment, weight, pickup date and, when published, rate) and gives the brokerage team's phone number to book it. Every alert begins with "Lanesurf Load Alerts:". Recipients are business contacts, not consumers. - How to opt in: on a recorded call with Lanesurf, or by subscribing from a Lanesurf email. After either step Lanesurf sends one confirmation text, and no load alert is sent until the recipient replies YES. Carriers can also join by texting YES or START to a Lanesurf Load Alerts number. - Consent is recorded for each phone number. Lanesurf does not use purchased, rented or third-party contact lists. Agreeing to receive Load Alerts is not a condition of doing business with Lanesurf or its brokerage customers. - Frequency: up to 5 messages per week, sent only between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient's local time. - Reply STOP to opt out at any time, START to opt back in, or HELP for help. Help is also available at support@lanesurf.com. Msg & data rates may apply. ## Other Lanesurf SMS programs - Lanesurf SMS: a business-to-business messaging program serving US freight brokers and motor carriers, about available freight loads, rate quotes, load confirmations, appointment windows, dispatch coordination, and other operational trade communications. Messages may follow up on prior voice conversations with Lanesurf's AI voice agents. - Lanesurf Track & Trace SMS: operational load-tracking messages (pickup and delivery check-ins, appointment confirmations, ETA requests, delivery status confirmations) to drivers and dispatchers of motor carriers hauling loads booked with a Lanesurf brokerage customer. The carrier approves SMS tracking for each load first. - Lanesurf Track & Trace Staff Alerts: after-hours alerts to enrolled employees of Lanesurf brokerage customers when a tracked load needs attention outside staffed hours. ## For developers and AI agents: the Lanesurf Agent API Source: https://docs.lanesurf.com (the docs are the source of truth; the contract is https://docs.lanesurf.com/openapi.yaml) The Lanesurf Agent API lets any AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor and others) or script use Lanesurf directly. It is a REST API at https://agent.lanesurf.com and a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP) at https://agent.lanesurf.com/mcp. Every MCP tool is one REST route, with the same API key, limits and error codes. There are two kinds of caller: a broker's agent with a load to cover, and a carrier's or dispatcher's agent with a truck to fill. ### Get a key - Carriers and brokerages sign up themselves in two calls: `POST /v1/signup` with `role` (`carrier` or `broker`), a work email, and an MC and/or DOT number; then `POST /v1/signup/{signup_id}/verify` with the 8-digit code Lanesurf emails. Free and personal email addresses are refused, and there is no signup by phone. The code expires after 10 minutes. - The API key (`ls_live_...`) is returned once. Send it on every request as `Authorization: Bearer ls_live_...`. Treat it like a password. - Over MCP, the tools are `start_signup` and `verify_signup`, so a carrier or brokerage can sign up from inside a chat. Apps that can't send an API key header, such as ChatGPT and the Claude app, connect to the MCP URL and sign in on a Lanesurf page (OAuth with PKCE and dynamic client registration). - A carrier is `verified` when the signup email's domain matches an email on the carrier's Highway record and its authority is active; otherwise the account is `needs_review`. A new brokerage can post loads and fill in its setup right away; carrier outreach on its loads starts after Lanesurf reviews it. - Every signup answer, including errors, has `next_step`: what the agent should do next. ### Brokers: cover a load 1. Post the load as JSON fields with `POST /v1/loads` and an `Idempotency-Key` header (a new UUID per load). Lanesurf needs the equipment, the first pickup's city, state and date, and the last delivery's city, state and date. 2. If something is missing, the answer is `422 missing_fields` with a `missing` list naming the exact fields. The agent asks the person for those only and sends the whole load again. 3. Lanesurf's AI carrier sales reps contact carriers by email and phone and collect offers. Carriers' own agents can also bid through the API. 4. Read the load and its offers with `GET /v1/loads/{id}`, about every 2 to 5 minutes. 5. Accept one offer (with the rate the person agreed to), decline offers, or mark the load covered if it was covered another way. Accepting stops Lanesurf's outreach and gives the broker the carrier's contact details. Lanesurf does not send a rate confirmation: the broker's team books the carrier from its own TMS. ### Carriers and dispatchers: get a truck loaded - Post trucks (`POST /v1/carrier/trucks`): where the truck is, when it's free, the equipment, and where it wants to go. Save lanes (`POST /v1/carrier/lanes`): the lanes the carrier runs. Posted trucks and saved lanes are how Lanesurf pitches the carrier matching loads. - Search loads near a ZIP or a city (`GET /v1/carrier/loads/search`): loads at the same ZIP first, then within 50, 100 and 150 miles, or by state, by equipment and pickup date. Search covers active loads from Lanesurf's brokers, without broker names, contacts or maximum rates. - Bid on a load (`POST /v1/carrier/loads/{load_id}/bids`). The bid reaches the broker's live board and the broker's reps are emailed. The broker's team follows up with the dispatcher to book; Lanesurf does not book the load. Follow bids with `GET /v1/carrier/bids`. - Searching loads, reading a load, truck matches and bidding need a verified carrier key. ### Limits, errors and retries - Each API key can make 120 requests per minute on the authenticated `/v1` routes. Over that, the answer is `429 rate_limited` with a `Retry-After` header: wait that many seconds, then retry. - Errors are JSON with a stable `code` (branch on it), a human-readable `error`, and a `request_id`. Every answer has an `X-Request-Id` header; quote it to support@lanesurf.com when something keeps failing. Full list: https://docs.lanesurf.com/errors - Posting a load needs an `Idempotency-Key`. If the call times out, retry with the same key and the same load: the original load comes back (`200`), never a second one. A key reused for a different load answers `422 idempotency_key_reused`. - Agents must confirm with the person before accepting an offer or bidding on a load, never reveal an API key, and never show one party's contact details to another. ## Company Ambinet Inc., doing business as Lanesurf 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA Support: support@lanesurf.com
